WatercolorI love teaching and am thrilled to have a summer class of talented but completely different skill based students. I am finding that I am most successful at teaching when I am committed to them individually.
I find that art and design students are not afraid to be different and can withstand societal pressure when it comes to their creativity and personalities. I find them to be doers that know how to break new ground or undergo change. They are not afraid of a challenge.
I think inner peace comes from living outside the fringe of everyday life. If you dress a little differently, are not afraid of impressing people or of giving an opinion that is unlike everyone else's you are living an honest life and will reap the rewards.
